Merry Christmas!

The “Cans for Comments” drive has ended with most of the blogs out there, however ours is still continuing until this Saturday. We’re running ours longer because our blog is so sparkly and new that we probably don’t have the traffic that some of the more established blogs do.
So keep leaving those comments!
I forgot to mention in my previous post who actually came up with the “Cans for Comments” idea.
Chris+Lynn deserve all the credit for coming up with this awesome idea. They have a large list of who’s also participating. I think everyone’s deadline is slightly different.
Thanks Chris and Lynn for coming up with this idea. Not only is the holiday season always a good time to donate, but especially now with such a crap economy.
EDIT: So apparently I’m mentally deficient. I DID mention Chris+Lynn in my post about the cans. Oh well…
Now this photo is by no means recent (MANY years old, my Dad would know for sure), and it’s certainly not a digital image (taken with my Dad’s old film camera and then scanned it) but it is one of my favourites. This is a photo of my Great Uncle Will on one of his visits from England. What I like most about this image is what I learned from it: how to relax and be patient, and how to become invisible to the subject.

Word up, y’all.
Early in November, we did an engagement session with Steve’s sister and her man, Cam. We headed out to Fort Langley on a perfectly overcast day for some good times. Check out some of the photos below

You’ve seen this one before… it’s in the header of our blog!

Well, That about does it for this round. Don’t forget to leave a comment so I can donate some cans!
I’ve decided to follow in the footsteps of another local photographer, Chris+Lynn and participate in their “Cans for Comments” drive. Basically, for every comment posted to our blog, we will donate a canned food item to the local food bank. I’ll do this from now until Dec. 20
Here is a sneak peak at the wedding we shot in November. We were a little worried that we wouldn’t be able to get any shots outside due to the poor weather we had in the week prior to the wedding, however we lucked out and the weather cleared up enough for us to spend some time at Deer Lake Park in Burnaby. We can’t wait to visit this park in the spring/summer for photo shoots. It had so much to offer.

Love that bouquet!
