On Valentine’s day I got the opportunity to help out another great local photographer, Michael Wachniak, with a “Day After” session. We hit a few locations around Vancouver for a day of awesomeness. Below are some of my favourite shots of the day. Enjoy!

Our first stop was the Chinese gardens near Downtown. I’d never been there before, and it was really cool.

After the Chinese gardens, we made a stop in Gastown. They looks so cute :)

After Gastown we went to Stanley Park. Yep, we were hitting it up all over town!

Who doesn’t like a good kiss on the rocks? Mmmm… I wonder if there’s a drink called “Kiss on the rocks”

Our final stop in the Downtown area was at the Library.

Well, that’s it for this round, Kiddies! Thanks for stopping by :)

You may remember Allison from a few months ago… We did an engagement session with her and Cam, her Fiance. We’ll be shooting her wedding in September. Anyway, We brought them all into the Ironworks Studio to shoot a portrait session. Let me tell you, it was a RIDICULOUS amount of fun. I thought I would provide a quick sneak peek of the day’s events.

We will be posting more images from this session very shortly. Keep a look out for them ;)

Mackie & Joel – Queen Elizabeth Park, Vancouver

On a cold, cold, cold day in January we had the fortune of photographing Mackie & Joel’s wedding. Although it was freezing cold outside, these two could only feel the love for one another.

I love how the light shines through her veil.

Mackie had chosen the most brilliant pink for her bridesmaids to wear, and her lipstick was a pretty close match to that!

A still photo of moving pictures.

I love how sweet this one is:)

We spent the late afternoon at Queen Elizabeth Park, and although it was freezing, Joel and Mackie were such good sports about it though. It was a great wedding and we wish the happy couple best wishes for the future:)
