Allison & Cam – Wedding Preview #2!
Just had to share another photo from Allison & Cam’s Wedding (which we will be doing a full post for very soon!). I looove the layers in her dress and the beading detail…just wait until you see the rest of it! ![]()

Since the forecast for this week calls for rain until Friday and into the weekend, I thought I would share one of my favourite summer photos. It was taken on the hottest day of the year on record in Vancouver (only to be beaten the next day!). I remember it well too. It was hot, sticky, humid and VERY sweaty! That evening I went up to Queen Elizabeth Park with the photo club that I’m in for a photowalk. When we reached the top, the fountain had at least one hundred people in it taking advantage of the cold water. These kids had the right idea! Enjoy ![]()

One evening during the summer, Deb and I decided to go for a bit of a photowalk… or rather, a photodrive. We headed out to Langley to shoot some old trucks that we saw a few weeks prior. We got a lot of great images and this is one of my favourite. I hope you enjoy it as much as I do

Last year fellow photographers Chris+Lynn started something. They called it “Cans for Comments.” Within a few days of starting it there were dozens of photographers all over the world doing the same. This year we’ve decided to do it again.
Basically the way it works is that for every comment you leave on our blog between now and Dec. 15 we will donate one can to our local Food Bank… except this year we’re doing things a little bit different.
You may or may not know that cash is 3 times as valuable to the Food Bank than actual food. For every $1 that is donated they can buy $3 worth of food. With that in mind we’ve decided that instead of donating a can for each comment, we’ll donate $1 for each comment. This way we’re able to feed more hungry families this {insert holiday of your choice here}
I’ll be posting a random photo every day (or 2) so you have something new to comment on too
YAY!
—–EDIT—–
I’ve made this post sticky, so you’re all reminded each time you visit that we’re doing this. Please leave a comment
Wow… Seriously, I must apologize… no posts in like 20 days when I said we’d post something every day or 2. We just moved at the beginning of the month, and it’s thrown our plans for a bit of a loop, so in light of that we’ve decided to extend cans for comments until the end of December. Please, comment!
There’s a full write up and blog post coming up for these fantastic folks, but to whet your appetite I’d like to show you one shot from today’s engagement session
