Steph & Tom are awesome, plain & simply put. They laugh and cuddle and make each other smile effortlessly, and ten minutes into the session we knew that they were natural born cuddlers We went to Granville Island for their Engagement Session and it was really the perfect place to 1) hide from any potential rain showers, and 2) let Steph & Tom get all snuggly and cute! I’d say it was a win-win situation

We think that the best part about Granville Island is that you can go from serious to seriously fun by walking two feet! These “Hairspray” posters were quite literally 2 steps away!

Amanda & Dan – Granville Island E-Session

Amanda & Dan are friends with Carly & Bryan and Carly is Kelly’s sister…confused yet? Anyways, on the same blustery day as we did Carly & Bryan’s couples shoot, we also did some engagement photos for Amanda & Dan down at Granville Island.

Amanda & Dan are so sweet and the love they share between them is quiet, but stirring:) They are goofy and gentle, funny and caring and most definitely only have eyes for each other:)

Carly & Bryan – Granville Island Couple’s Session

Please say hi to Carly and Bryan. They called upon us to take some updated photos while they were in town for Easter (they’re from Edmonton… poor things!) It was windy. It was wet. But it was fun!

Carly and I went to High School together. I haven’t seen her in 12 years, so it was really cool to catch up with her and meet her husband. It’s weird to think that since the last time I saw her we could’ve gone through our entire pre-university schooling all over again.

We met up with them in Granville Island and I’d like to say the weather was PERFECT… except… well, it wasn’t. It was slightly rainy, which is ok, but REALLY windy. We made the best of it, though!

Granville Island has awesome walls. So full of colour!

“Oh, what? Ya, just chillin’ out next to this awesome building in my sweet little cap. ‘Sup?”

No witty comment here…

Bryan is super, man.

There was a lot of this going on that day. Did I mention we were having fun?

We took a short break from the weather and we caught a few shots of them while they were having coffee.

We chose this parking spot by accident…. honest!

Joe & Nicole’s Wedding – Granville Island

Here I am, blogging another wedding. 2 Blog posts in 1 week… good times!

This is Joe and Nicole. I shot their wedding as the second shooter for the awesome Fran Chelico. Second shooting’s great. It gives me a chance to develop my skills as a photographer and to learn some new things without having to worry about all the things a primary shooter has to worry about. It also gives me a chance to try a few different things in the way of post-processing. So Here are some of my favourite images from this wedding:
