For the past few years, Nick and I have organized a “Shoot for Us” Day, for us and other Vancouver and Fraser Valley Photographers. We rent some studio space, crank up the music and basically just shoot for ourselves. This is a day where we can meet our colleagues, try out some new stuff, and learn from each other. Through these Shoot For Us days we have met some really great photographers and have made some really awesome friends along the way

This year, we went to Gabriel Morosan’s Studio in Vancouver and we had a fantastic time. Gabriel has a really great little set up with all of his lights on a track system so we can just pull them in or push them away when we don’t need them. It was awesome to get to work with some different lighting set ups and equipment The incredible hair and makeup was provided by Rhoda from Hampton Beauty.

Sneak Peek – Allison and Bridesmaids Studio Session

You may remember Allison from a few months ago… We did an engagement session with her and Cam, her Fiance. We’ll be shooting her wedding in September. Anyway, We brought them all into the Ironworks Studio to shoot a portrait session. Let me tell you, it was a RIDICULOUS amount of fun. I thought I would provide a quick sneak peek of the day’s events.
