When Jen first starting planning her long-awaited wedding, she wanted it to be like “a house party in someone else’s house”. I would say it was mission accomplished because the only formality there was that day was the actually ceremony! There was no head table or arranged seating, in fact Jen & Jordy sat with whomever they wanted and where ever too! All they wanted was their closest family and friends to be with them on this day and it was really wonderful to be invited to capture it for them. Their ceremony and reception was held at the Beecher Place on Crescent Beach in White Rock, and it was beautiful. Aimee of Aim 2 Please did an amazing job of creating the relaxed and family focused atmosphere that Jen dreamed of.

Here are our favourite shots from the day.

Hands tell you so much about a person.  What they might do for a living, where they have been and most importantly how they are feeling.  Their hands tell me that they are strong, independent and will be there to support each other through everything that life brings them.

Jen was laughing throughout the ceremony, and she was so excited to be marrying Jordy.

I think I can still taste how delicious this salmon was.  Mmmmmmmmm… Perfectly barbequed and perfect for a sunset meal.

The weather was absolutely spectacular which led into a remarkable night.
